Reporting general description

An important part of the Oil Fluid Management Solution is represented by print outputs and exports. They help to print the program data on a printer or export them to the Excel. There are two basic report types in the program.

basic data print reports
transaction data analytic print reports

The basic data print reports show the basic data, such as lubricants, centres, machines, warehouse items and the like, on the printer or in the Excel. That is they show data which serve as a basis for the transaction data operations in the program.
Analytic reports of transaction data display on the printer or in the Excel data, such as lubrication tasks, laboratory tests, wastes, warehouse receipts and warehouse issues. Except for simple displaying of individual records (e.g. list of executed lubrications, list of measured values from laboratory tests, etc.), these reports enable also displaying of summary results for a specified time period (e.g. total lubricant consumption by centres, total lubricant consumption by machines). Analytic reports of transaction data enable to summarise in a simple way a great number of data for a specific time period and to display them in a simple and transparent form.

The print records are displayed in several forms in the Yamatec Oil program. Nearly every print report of the Yamatec Oil program can be displayed in each of them. There are some exceptions, such as printing of labels with barcodes which cannot be exported to the Excel or e.g. printing of list of laboratory tests which cannot be printed because of its width, but can be exported to the Excel. The display formats of print reports are as follows:

Each of the procedures of generating a print report is the same. The user defines the selection criteria, selects the output type and finally presses the OK button. The Yamatec Oil program will do the rest. The following figures show a simple print report displaying the list of oils in various ways.
