On the basis of the company’s calendar, the list of departments, lubricants, machines and their lubrication rules, the program calculates and plans the lubrication tasks for each machine that requires it based on its utilised operating capacity. The program is then able to generate a daily lubrication plan containing exact information for maintenance.

The operators can dispose of precise information about the machines to be treated, about the kind and the quantity of the lubricant to be used. With this so called internal order they inspect the assigned machines and record the quantity of used lubricant. After returning to the computer they enter the data on the lubricant quantity actually used into the lubrication plan in the Yamatec Oil program. This allows the machine managers to monitor and evaluate the lubricant consumption and to take proactive measures, if necessary.

If a company owns a large number of machines and its operators have to perform numbers of tasks daily, it is recommended to use the barcode reader with the installed Yamatec PocketOil program. In such case, each lubrication point should be marked with a barcode identifying this point.

After returning to the machine, the operator loads this barcode and enters the actually used lubricant amount into the reader. When the operator returns to the computer, he connects the reader to the computer and the Yamate cOil program reads the executed lubrication tasks from the reader and loads them to the computer. The program contains a warehouse module that enables to record the warehouse issues and receipts of lubrication products.

A separate module in the YamatecOil program is the recording of lubricant tests. It enables to record the executed laboratory tests together with the measured values of lubricant parameters. Similarly, it is possible to record the quantities of the collected waste lubricants in the Yamatec Oil program. To collect data on the executed laboratory tests and the collected wastes, also the barcode reader can be used.
