Lubricants

The basic function of fluid management is planning, monitoring and evaluation of machinery lubrication. Various kinds of lubricants from various producers are used for lubrication. Therefore, the basic prerequisite for a proper functioning of the fluid management program is a list of used lubricants. The Lubrications module enables to create and administer that list. The lubrication products are further utilised in lubrication rules of machines, in lubrication plans, in executed lubrication tasks, in records of laboratory tests and in the warehouse.
The Oil Fluid Management Solution enables to record and use following types of lubricants:

• Oils
• Greases
• Filters
• Cutting oils
• Emulsions
• Cleaners
• Additives

There is a separate list kept for each type of lubricant. It is possible to add and remove lubricants, as necessary.

There is also a possibility to display the list of machines and their lubrication points for a selected lubricant. At the same time, it is possible to display all executed lubrication tasks where the selected lubricant was used. Similarly, the list of lubricant laboratory tests can be displayed, eventually the list of collected waste of the selected lubricant.

There are records of the name, the abbreviated name, the lubrication measurement unit and the producer of every lubricant. Emulsions and cleaners have adjusted also the values necessary for a proper functioning of laboratory tests.
